Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and may need urgent toilet access.

IBS is a digestive condition that can cause stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation.

It can be brought on by several factors, including stress and anxiety. I also have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), so may be anxious and stressed when in public.

Other symptoms include nausea, tiredness, and the need to urinate frequently.

Due to being autistic, I may not realise that I need the toilet until it’s urgent.
